Spectrum Black Brush-on Underglaze
Spectrum black liquid underglaze can be used at almost any temperature range and can be applied to bisque or raw clay. 2-3 coats are required for opaque, vibrant colours. The tile shown are at Cone 05, but the underglaze can be fired from low temperature (cone 06/04) to high temperature (cone 9/10). Some colour variation will occur at higher temperatures and also different clear coats and thickness can affect the hue of the underglaze.
Good to Know:
- Opaque with 3 coats.
- Semi-opaque with 2 coats.
- Semi-transparent with 1 coat.
- Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
- Contains no lead or cadmium ingredients. Certified AP Non-Toxic
- Conforms to ASTM D-4236
